Were you a fan of professional wrestling as a child? If so, what are your fondest memories?
I was a massive fan of the WWF attitude era. My fondest memories are any time Stone cold or the Rock would interrupt a match they weren’t involved in. The arena would go dark, and then their intro would kick in followed by them running to the ring and hitting their finishers. It was like a microcosm of a normal match, a match within a match with maximum effect!
Who was your favourite wrestler and why?
D’Lo Brown was my favourite wrestler! He was very flamboyant and had half a dozen finishers most of which could be pulled at a drop of a hat with minimal set up! His music intro was great too… I once had a conversation with someone about what made a great wrestler and we came to the conclusion that, if you were making a custom wrestler on the WWF Playstation games and gave a wrestlers characteristics and move set to a custom wrestler and you are still able to identify whose characteristic these were originally then it was a sign that that individual was a truly great wrestler. D’lo brown definitely fits this criteria!
If you ever found yourself in a situation where you were about to head down to the ring and engage in combat, what song do you think you would use as you entrance theme?
Pig destroyer “Gravedancer” would get me pumped for sure!
Do you have a motto or code of conduct that you live your life by?
It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.
Which film made you cry the most as a child?
“She got the cancer and died on a Tuesday” every time…
