If you ever found yourself in a situation where you were about to head down to the ring and engage in combat, what song do you think you would use as you entrance theme?
“Simon Says” by Pharoahe Monch, that’s one song that gets me hyped up no matter how many times I hear it, or “Still” by the Geto Boys, mostly because it’s the only song I can think of that has someone shouting “Die motherfucker!” as a chorus. I reckon that gets the message across…
Who are some of your favourite contemporary illustrators and artists?
The list is always changing, but here are a bunch artists I’m following on instagram/jealous of: pretty much the entire weird crew (Nychos, HRVB, DXTR, ect) T-Wei, Mcbess, Austen Zaleski, Michael Reeder, Sam Rodriguez, Aryz, I’ll stop there, but there’s plenty more!
Presumably, you have a ‘Nerd Cave’ of your own, but what are the top three unusual or precious items stored within your cave?
I don’t really have any unusual items, but one of my prized possessions is my Stimpy Mug I’ve had since ’94. I don’t really drink out of of it, but it makes a pretty good pen holder! Other than that I’ve got a bunch of prints that have been given to me by artists friends I’ve met over the years and last, but not least, a few empty beer cans and dried up pens I should of thrown out ages ago. Obviously they’re not valuable, I’m just using this as a reminder to clean shit up.
Do you have a spirit animal? If yes, what manner of beast is it?
I would say something majestic like a wolf or an eagle, but realistically I think I’d be an otter. I’m not sure why really, they just seem pretty easy going.
Are we alone in the universe or, in an infinite universe filled with infinite possibilities, are there other intelligent lifeforms out there somewhere…
I like to think that there’s an infinite amount of universes out there with different versions of ourselves in them, including an evil version of myself with an eye patch, that’s a given. Or maybe, I’m the evil version of myself all along…
